Research interests
I'm an applied mathematician, with a broad range of interests, including complex analysis, spectral theory, Fourier analysis, numerical analysis, PDEs, asymptotic expansions, hydrodynamic stability and mathematical theory of diffraction.
As regards to applications, I'm actively working in the field of wave scattering (canonical scattering problems) in acoustics and elasticity, as well as the field of combustion instability.
In general, I'm very interested in problems combining elegant mathematics with strong industrial applications.
I'm an active member of the Mathematics of Waves and Materials (MWM) research group. We are always on the look-out for good students/researchers (see opportunities).
